1. The deal

Roast My Activity ("we", "us", "the service") is a web application that uses AI to generate humorous, satirical commentary on fitness activity data you provide. By using this service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. What the service does

You upload a screenshot of a fitness activity. Our system uses AI vision models to extract activity stats from the image, then generates a satirical roast of those stats. The result is an image you can download and share. That's it.

3. No liability — read this

The roasts generated by this service are entirely satirical and AI-generated. They are not real assessments, medical opinions, fitness advice, or coaching guidance of any kind. Do not act on anything the AI says about your fitness, health, performance, or capability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We provide this service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any loss, injury, embarrassment, damaged ego, hurt feelings, or any other harm — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of this service.
• We are not liable if the AI is mean about your marathon time. That's the point.
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
• Our total liability to you for any claim, under any legal theory, shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, which may be zero.

4. Your content

By uploading an image, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and use the image to generate your roast. We do not sell your images or use them to train AI models. We delete original uploads after processing is complete.

Don't upload images that contain other people's personal data without their consent, illegal content, or anything that would violate someone else's rights.

5. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use this service to:

• Upload content you don't have rights to
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Violate any applicable law
• Generate content intended to harm, harass, or defame anyone

We reserve the right to terminate access for anyone violating these terms, at our sole discretion, without notice.

7. Third-party services

This service uses third-party providers including Cloudflare R2 (image storage), Neon (database), Ollama and xAI Grok (AI models), and Resend (email). Their terms apply to their respective services. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, errors, or conduct.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
